Calder attends the UK’s biggest construction event at Birmingham’s NEC
We were delighted to attend and exhibit at UK Construction Week, the UK’s biggest construction event, held at the NEC in Birmingham.
Over three busy days, the show brought together thousands of people from across the sector, all looking to discover the latest products, learn about industry trends, and make new connections.
At our stand, we had the chance to share more about what we do at Calder, from our expertise in lead and steel products to our tailored solutions for different projects. As seen on our LinkedIn updates, it was a lively few days full of great conversations with contractors, architects, fabricators and specifiers. Meeting so many enthusiastic people who were genuinely interested in how we can support their projects was a real highlight.
The show itself had plenty to offer, with dedicated zones covering everything from digital construction and roofing to retrofit and sustainability. Seminars and workshops tackled some of the biggest topics facing the industry today, including how to build more efficiently and responsibly. It was inspiring to see how much energy and innovation there is in the sector right now, and we felt proud to be part of it.
What stood out most for us was the sense of collaboration. We came away with new leads, fresh ideas, and plenty of exciting opportunities to follow up on. More than that, it was a reminder of how important it is to share knowledge, stay connected and work together to move the industry forward.
