Lead Sheet Training Academy

The Lead Sheet Training Academy is at the forefront of training for those using lead and hard metals in the construction industry. Calder Lead are proud sponsors of the LSTA.

Committed to quality

To deliver this training the LSTA operates from a purpose-built training facility in East Peckham, Kent. The training centre includes full scale training rigs and resources, as well as providing a well-equipped environment in which to learn, as it re-creates real-life situations. If suitable premises are available, the LSTA can also deliver basic courses in lead/hard metals at locations around the UK.

The centre is recognised through CITB’s Training Provide Network. Tutors are experienced trainers, holding qualifications in leadwork, hard metals and teaching. They have experience of working on-site and are CITB-approved assessors. CITB Employer Network Funding covers 50% of the course fees for employees of CITB-registered construction businesses. LSTA can offer pay-as-you-learn charges for courses longer than 5-days.

The LSTA offers City & Guilds accredited programmes at Basic, intermediate and Advanced level, Specialist Applied-skills Programme level 2 and 3 (SAP) which they have delivered successfully for the past 17 years, as well as the On-Site Assessment and Training (OSAT) level 2/3 and bespoke training packages.
