LEAD POTS

Calder has a vast experience of working with, and understanding, the nuclear industry and has developed a variety of products especially for this sector.

One such product is our portable lead pots, which are designed for multiple uses in the nuclear industry. These are ideal for occasions when small volumes of radioactive material need to be transported around the plant.

The Calder designed lead pots have a lift out lid feature  and a T-handle, that is easy to grasp even when wearing gloves. Despite their robust build, our lead pots can easily be moved using a trolley.

Calder are able to offer a bespoke design and manufacture service, for more specialist applications such as stainless steel lined lead pots as well as increased lead shielding thicknesses. Please contact us for further details.
