GLOVE BOXES

Glove boxes are stainless steel sealed containers, that are used to handle radioactive materials, by means of special gloves built into the sides of the glove box. There are a number of key requirements for a glove box but perhaps the most important is to protect the operator, product or environment. Lead radiation shielding and a lead glass viewing window are incorporated into the unit to protect the operator from gamma radiation.
